According to the Wall Street Journal, Norman Reedus recently spoke out about what exactly happened to Glenn, played by Steven Yeun, in a past episode of "The Walking Dead" season 6.

A past episode of "The Walking Dead" season 6 showed Glenn seemingly getting eaten by a horde of walkers. He was seen screaming with the walkers devouring guts in front of him. While Reedus did not reveal whether Glenn was still alive, he did share some teasers on what could have happened. He said, "It's really entered a mature level of storytelling this time. Little tiny things mean so much later. You really have to pay attention to everything. The acting is so on point, the directing is so on point. I feel like [showrunner] Scott [Gimple] is really leading the team to the Super Bowl."

Meanwhile, he did also share that when he watched the episode, he was also shocked at the outcome. He said, "I was in that episode and I watched that episode and I was like how could they do that! I had the same feeling, trust me. That's our show. That's what we do. We rip your guts out — literally."

However, it was recently revealed that the series recently removed Steven Yeun's name in the opening credits of the previous episodes. While this cannot be a confirmed indication of his death, it was shared that he will be present in episodes to come. It was not revealed whether his appearance will be set in the future or as a flashback.

"The Walking Dead" season 6 is expected to air on AMC every Sunday.
