'The Walking Dead' Season 6 Spoilers: Does Death Or Life Await Daryl Dixon?

The return of the hit AMC series "The Walking Dead" could be faced with another death.

There are speculations that the upcoming episode of the series will put several characters in danger. One of the characters highly rumored to meet his end is Daryl Dixon, played by Norman Reedus, in the upcoming episode titled "No Way Out."

According to Melty, the executive producer of the series, Robert Kirkman, shared some details about the upcoming premiere that hinted at several deaths. He also recently shared his sentiments about the upcoming tragedies on Reddit. He stated, "In my opinion, I feel like characters ripen like fruit. So while I wouldn't say the more popular a character is the more likely they are to die, they do have to reach a certain level of popularity before they've 'earned' the death. No character is too popular to die."

While he did not share much about it, another executive producer of the series, Scott Gimple, also gave a more detailed teaser for the episode to come. He said, "We will be wooing you with the weirdest of Valentine's Day gifts: Chaos, terror, heartbreak, heroics, tragedy, and terror. Yes, that's two terrors. Friends, in all seriousness, episode nine is one of the biggest episodes we have done. Greg [Nicotero] and the astounding cast and crew made magic."

There are speculations that the upcoming deaths will be due to the speculated introduction of a new character. Fans are expecting the notorious comic book character Negan to cause more trouble for the group. With that, there are guesses that he will be the reason for the many deaths in the series.

"The Walking Dead" season 6 will be returning to the small screen on Feb. 14, 2016.
