'The Walking Dead' season 6 spoilers: Group covered in walker guts

Spoilers for the upcoming season of "The Walking Dead" reveal that Alexandria will be infiltrated by a horde.

According to The Spoiling Dead, season 6 of The Walking Dead will have several characters covered in walker guts and organs, in order to hide from the walker horde that will take down Alexandria. Included in the group are Rick, Michonne, Father G, Carl, Jessie, Ron, and Sam. It was reported that the situation will worsen when Sam gets captured and starts to get eaten. Without letting go of Carl, Jessie tries to save him. However, Rick, worried for his son, chops off her hand that results to her falling into the horde of walkers. Rick's actions put him at gunpoint from Ron. Before he shoots Rick, Carl jumps in to save his father. Unfortunately, Carl gets shot in the eye, which led to Michonne killing Ron. With that, those who were still alive still managed to escape. While some of the details mentioned were seen in the comic book, it is still unsure whether this will happen in the upcoming season.

Meanwhile, Greg Nicotero, the special makeup effects artist of the series, mentioned that the walkers in season 6 will be portrayed differently. It was reported that the walkers will show a "more decrepit" and an older look compared to that in the previous seasons. Nicotero shared, "We're doing a few things we haven't done before, which is digital augmentation of couple of walkers. We're moving noses and putting a cavity there. [We're also] taking the area underneath the ribcage and shrinking it down."
