'The Walking Dead' Season 8 Spoilers: Is Judith About To Die?

The endless fascination of fans about the post-apocalyptic world filled with zombies has driven many writers and companies to produce their own franchise of the universe. Out of the fray, "The Walking Dead" stood out and with eight seasons to back it up, it also seems to be the most loved.

However, it seems that the heartbreak is not about to end on AMC's series, as a new fan theory has developed and it seems to have a lot of support from the previous episodes of "The Walking Dead."

In "The Walking Dead" season 8, episode 1, fans were treated to a flash-forward in the timeline, wherein Rick (Andrew Lincoln) seems to have aged and is living well with Michonne (Ganai Gurira), Carl (Chandler Riggs), and Judith (Kinsley Isla Dillon).

In season 8 episode 2 titled "The Damned" seems that the 6-year-old girl in the time skip is Judith. In the episode, Rick approached a crib with a newborn that had a specific detail that is easy to miss. In the far upper left corner of the crib is a bunny stuffed toy.

Eagled-eyed fans zoomed in on it and went back to the first episode where the time skip happened. The girl was holding what looked to be the same stuffed toy as the one in the crib. Considering that the baby was named Gracie, the detail fired up rumors that Judith may be about to die in the coming episodes.

There is no official word on this issue yet, but some fans are afraid that this might be what "The Walking Dead" season 8 episode 3 will be about. Rick and Michonne never actually mentioned the name of the girl in the flash-forward, which served to fuel the rumors.

"The Walking Dead" airs Sundays on AMC at 9 p.m. EDT.
