'The Walking Dead' Season 9 Spoilers: Will the Season See More Deaths?
Stars of the hit series "The Walking Dead" revealed some details about what fans can look forward to in the rest of the season.
It was reported that Andrew Lincoln, who plays the role of Rick Grimes, shared details about the third episode of "The Walking Dead" season 9. It was revealed that episode 3 will be titled "JSS," which does not say much about what the episode will present.
With that, Lincoln explained that the group will continue dealing with more than hundreds of walkers as the horde make their way into the Safe-Zone. The action will grow as the residents of the Safe-Zone do not have the capabilities to kill the new zombies.
According to Lincoln, the next episode will feel like a season finale on its own, with the intense stories. He said, "I can tell you that the level of intensity and the epic scale of the show will not end with just the first episode."
Producer of the series Greg Nicotero also added, "We continue to have big, giant, almost unproducible episodes week after week after week. You're not going to catch your breath in this season at all. It's just completely relentless week after week."
With that, it is expected that the next few episodes can see the end for a few of their characters. Star of the series Lauren Cohan shared her sentiments on the possible deaths in the season during an interview with ETonline.
When asked if her character, Maggie, would be able to survive if she were to lose Glenn, Cohan replied, "We have to keep going no matter what. I think what's happened is this sense that you aren't just living for yourself anymore — you're living for the people around you. I don't think she thought she could survive it after she lost Beth, but something higher — her God of whatever demonization — is just something that keeps her going and I think that's the human desire to survive. But I really hope we don't have to answer that question this year."
