'The Walking Dead' Unveils New Trailer for the Rest of Season 5

"The Walking Dead" reveals new teaser for the other half of its fifth season.

"Surviving together is all that matters" is the theme for the new clip. It opened with Rick Grimes leading the group in a foggy forest. The leader raised his hand and signaled for a stop and the gang fired their guns.

Daryl Dixon aimed his crossbow and shotgun while Michonne used her katana. Carol Peletier held a knuckle-grip knife. Glenn Rhee ducked down with a dagger on hand while his wife Maggie Greene looked angry as she fired her weapon.

Siblings Tyreese and Sasha Williams looked panic as they explored the wilderness. Sergeant Abraham Ford aimed his automatic rifle while Rosita and Tara carried guns as well. Lastly, Eugene Porter gripped a tiny knife behind the girls.

The group is ready to fight an unseen enemy in the hazy forest. The survivors are complete except for Carl and Judith Grimes.

A concerned fan brought the matter to ask.fm and asked why Carl wasn't present in the trailer.

Chandler Riggs, who plays as Carl, replied: "well i had bought tickets to go to boston to see (girlfriend) hana and they had scheduled the shooting of that to not be on those days, but norman had a convention on the day that the trailer was going to be shot, and i guess they wanted norman more than me so they switched the days and told me about it like 3 days before they shot it."

Since "The Walking Dead" debut in 2010, this is the first time that the gang is out in the woods instead of finding refuge in a camp or shelter. The show's recent poster featured the map from Abraham with a text "The world is gonna need Rick Grimes." This is the map that Morgan Jones found in the mid season finale that can possibly initiate a reunion with his friend Rick.

Three more weeks and "The Walking Dead" returns on Feb. 8 at 9 p.m. on AMC.
