'The X-Files' Season 10 Episode 3 Spoilers: What Will Happen in 'Mulder and Scully Meet the Were-Monster?'
"The X-Files" season 10 episode 3 is said to bring back the old "X-Files" format, and fans wonder what to expect from this episode titled "Mulder and Scully Meet the Were-Monster."
According to Carter Matt, fans will see a classic "X-Files" episode next week, since the show will go back to the "monster-of-the-week" episode format. It seems like the website is positive that the show is headed to something "pretty weird, dramatic, and interesting places" in the upcoming episode. The report also warned fans to expect a little bit of humor since two comedians are set to guest star in this episode.
In the sneak peek released for the upcoming episode, fans saw Scully (Gillian Anderson) warning Mulder (David Duchovny) about the grave danger ahead. "Right now, we are in big trouble," the medical doctor said.
The two are investigating a new case, which involves an eye witness seeing an attacker that looks like "a man-sized horned lizard with human teeth." Scully tells him, "Mulder, the internet is not good for you," which Mulder only replies with a hint of smile.
The next scenes in the 31-second trailer show a lot of running, gun pointing, mirror smashing, and monster attacking clips, which made fans totally excited for the upcoming episode in the "X-Files" miniseries.
An episode synopsis is posted on Flickering Myth, and the full summary reads, "When a dead body is found in the woods, Mulder and Scully are called in to investigate whether it was an animal attack, a serial killer or just maybe a strange creature as described by eyewitnesses. Meanwhile, Mulder is able to confront some of his own demons about feeling disillusioned with his life's work."
The episode was written and directed by Darin Morgan. Guest stars include Kumail Nanjiani as Pasha and Rhys Darby as Guy Mann.
