'The Young and the Restless' Spoilers: Christmas Comes to Genoa City
It seems like the residents of Genoa City are taking a Christmas Break from all the drama, since everyone is busy preparing for their Christmas party. However, despite the happiness in the air that Christmas brings, drama still always finds a way to creep into the characters' lives in Genoa.
According to Celebrity Dirty Laundry, Faith (Alyvia Alyn Lind) and Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) will plan a very special celebration this Christmas, which is also speculated to serve as Abby's (Melissa Ordway) bridal shower. It really appears that everyone will try to embody the holiday season and avoid any possible turmoil, which everyone has been stressing out in the past episodes.
Last week, Abby learned that Stitch (Sean Carrigan) no longer bear feelings for her mom, Ashley (Eileen Davidson), according to Soap Shows. However, despite not trusting what Stitch said about his feelings for Ashley, Abby still went ahead on planning her wedding with him. Meanwhile, besides dealing with her daughter's wedding, Ashley may have to deal with her aneurysm since she found out it had returned.
With regard to what's going to happen with Victor (Eric Braeden) in the next episode, he'll be asking everyone's help to rebuild the Newman Enterprises and will tell Abby that it is not just today that he needs them, but every single day, until the company is at the top once more. Fans wonder if everyone will go ahead and blindly follow Victor this time.
The synopsis for today's, Dec. 22, episode was posted on She Knows Soaps, and it reads, "Victor makes a difficult decision. Victoria considers reaching out to Billy. Adam and Sharon reconnect."
The show will only air new episodes this week until Thursday, Dec. 24 and will broadcast a repeat episode this Friday, Christmas Day. Watch "The Young and the Restless" on CBS every Monday to Friday.
