'The Young and the Restless' Spoilers, Plot Rumors Friday, October 23, 2015: Sage's Testimony and a 'Not Guilty' Verdict for Adam?
Following months of speculation as to whether there was another driver during Delia Abbott's running over, fans will finally get the truth in Friday's episode of "The Young and the Restless."
Everyone believes Adam (Justin Hartley) was Delia's assailant, including the latter's parents, Billy (Burgess Jenkins) and Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson). While Genoa City urges for Adam to spend the rest of his life behind bars, spoilers suggest that a twist of fate may bring Adam freedom.
According to Celeb Dirty Laundry, Michael (Christian LeBlanc) will be representing the "evil" Adam, and though his family, including the arrogant Kevin (Greg Rikaart), are against his decision, he will do everything in his power to not lose Adam's case.
Initially, the lawyer was looking for a plea deal, meaning he has plans of getting his client acquitted. However, it seems as if the entire city is against him, not to mention his family seeing him as an accomplice to Delia's "murder."
The outlet says he will then resort to the almost impossible. That is, he will get Sage (Kelly Sullivan) to admit in front of God and man that she was the one behind Adam's forced identity swap with Gabriel Bingham, who was on the wheels when Delia was run over.
Rumor has it that Sage will most probably take the witness stand and admit to the only possible solution she had at that time to the problem. She will reportedly clear Adam's tainted name, her decision resulting to chaos as her husband, Nick (Joshua Morrow), learns that she has known about Adam's true identity all along.
Other spoilers suggest that Billy and Chloe may not accept the big reveal. This could mean they may continue to do anything possible in their power to prove that their initial definition of Adam as a monster is true, making Sage's testimony nothing but a lie.
While it is unclear how Nick will react to Sage's revelation, rumor has it that their relationship may be on the rocks once Sage spills the beans on what occurred during the night of Delia's accident.
"The Young and the Restless" airs weekdays on CBS.
