'The Young and the Restless': Victoria vs Jack
Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will reportedly get extra competitive this week to make sure that she gets the upper hand versus Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman).
Victoria and Jack are executives of rival cosmetics companies, Brash & Sassy and Jabot Cosmetics, respectively. She is going head-to-head against him in clinching the MLB contract. However, she is close to being on the losing side of the contest. But she is not giving up just yet.
Victoria knew she would be in for some fierce competition upon learning that Jack has more knowledge of her company, Brash & Sassy, than she preferred he has. So to acquire the contract that will make her brand be known as the best skin care line, she reportedly goes to GC Buzz, the news organization run by Devon Hamilton (Bryton James).
Her original plan was to acquire copies of her previous interviews from Devon's company which she hopes can leave a good impression of her on investors. However, while going through several files at GC Buzz, she will stumble upon a hidden gem that she can use against Jack, not just for this particular contract but it is something that can also ruin Jack's entire career.
While going through the interview files, Victoria spots a recording about Jabot's previous scandal. She instantly knows that it can help her more than her previous interviews will. The said Jabot scandal almost brought down the entire company, and Victoria would not mind putting the file back up and accessible again for the sake of winning against Jack and for the development of Brash & Sassy.
Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes), a host of GC Buzz, shows Victoria her interview files, which are on the same computer where the Jabot scandal file is. To make matters better for Victoria, Mariah left the room, unwittingly giving Victoria the power to bring down Jack's entire career.
Spoilers hint that fans need to watch to see if Victoria was able to get the raw interview about the said scandal, which links Jack's name with some sexual assault allegations. Jack should hope for the best, because if not, he might lose more than Jabot Cosmetics.
"The Young and the Restless" airs from Monday to Friday at 12:30 p.m. EDT on CBS.
