Fans are expecting Thor and Jane to end their relationship in the upcoming film. With that, there were suggestions that Thor will receive a new romantic interest in "Thor: Ragnarok." It was announced that Tess Thompson, from "Creed," will be introduced as a new character in the film, creating rumors that she could be Thor's next romantic relationship.

While there has yet to be any confirmation on the matter, reports revealed that Tess' character will be presented as another kind of superhero. Some believe that she will debut the role of Valkyrie in the film. Her character is also expected to play a role in the next installment of the "Avengers."

However, she will not be the only new character in "Thor: Ragnarok." It was confirmed that the villain of the film will be played by Cate Blanchett. She will be taking on the role of Hela. Fans are looking forward to seeing Blanchett taking part in the Marvel franchise.

Blanchett herself expressed her interest in the upcoming film. According to Comic Book Movie, she said, "I'm super, super excited about it. I've only done action a couple of times, so it feels like… a departure is too strong a word, but it certainly seems like a change for me. So, I am looking forward to getting really fit, and wearing lycra, and hoping to earn a bit of street cred from my kids. I can't wait."

"Thor: Ragnarok" is expected to hit theaters on Nov. 3, 2017.
