'Thor: Ragnarok' News: Tom Hiddleston's Last Marvel Movie?

With the plentiful amount of Marvel movies coming out soon, fans are curious to know about Loki's future in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

The character Loki has been popular since its introduction to the Marvel Cinematic Universe in the first installment of the "Thor" franchise. Played by Tom Hiddleston, Loki has been one of the characters anticipated to return for "Thor: Ragnarok." However, it seems as though his appearance in the upcoming film will be bittersweet. As reported by Comic Book Movies, Hiddleston recently spoke about his character, where he revealed that it could be the last time fans will see him as Loki.

During the interview, he stated that he is happy to be working on alongside Chris Hemsworth in the upcoming film since it has been awhile since he worked on a Marvel movie. He also explained that it will be his last time to do so.

However, when he was questioned about Loki's appearance in the upcoming "Avengers: Infinity War," Hiddleston replied, "I don't know! Honestly, I don't know! They haven't got their ducks in a row yet. They make it up as they go along."

Meanwhile, a new face is also joining Hiddleston and Hemsworth in "Thor: Ragnarok." Award-winner, Cate Blanchett will also be seen taking on a role in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The actress expressed her excitement to be part of the film, since it is the type of movie is something new to her.

She said during an interview, "I've only done action a couple of times, so it feels like departure is too strong a word, but it certainly seems like a change for me. So, I am looking forward to getting really fit and wearing lycra, and hoping to earn a bit of street cred from my kids. I can't wait."

"Thor: Ragnarok" is expected to hit theaters Nov. 3, 2017.
