'Thor: Ragnarok' Plot Spoilers, Rumors: New Behind-the-Scenes Footage Shows Thor, Loki's Confrontation

"Thor: Ragnarok" is opening in theaters in a couple of months and teasers for the film have been making the rounds online in recent weeks. A few days ago, a new piece of on-set footage from the upcoming movie surfaced that showed the God of Thunder as he goes head-to-head with his brother Loki.

The official synopsis for the third installment in the "Thor" franchise revealed that one of its major storylines is the long-standing feud between the two brothers. Their rivalry has been around since the first installment, and it looks like it is not going to end anytime soon.

In the new behind-the-scenes clip from "Thor: Ragnarok," Chris Hemsworth's Thor was shown confronting his brother in what appeared to be Asgard. Loki was seen sitting on a lavish couch, looking shocked as he sees Thor coming up to him with his mighty hammer. It seems that not even the guards surrounding Loki could stop him, as Thor ultimately approached his brother's couch and presses him with his hammer.

Although the clip does not reveal what exactly is happening in the scene, fans speculate that it takes place before Thor is sent to and incarcerated in Sakar, not only because the footage showed the God of Thunder with long hair but also because he is still with his hammer. According to fans, the scene cannot possibly take place before Hela's rise to power because the synopsis for the film reveals that she will crush Mjolnir before sending him to Sakar, powerless.

Aside from Thor and Loki's faceoff, another showdown that fans should look forward to in "Thor: Ragnarok" is that of Thor and Hulk. Spoilers for the upcoming film reveal that while in Sakaar, the two characters will face each other in a battle as they learn where Bruce Banner has been hanging out since "Avengers: Age of Ultron."

"Thor: Ragnarok" will open in theaters on Nov. 3, 2017.
