'Thor: Ragnarok' Release Date, Spoilers & Update: Movie To Film In Australia, Valkyrie And The Hulk Part Of Sequel?
The superhero movie "Thor: Ragnarok" is going to be filmed in Australia. According to a report by Coming Soon, Hon. Julie Bishop MP, Minister for Foreign Affairs, announced that the Hollywood film starring Chris Hemsworth will have their shooting location in Australia, which is also the place of birth of the actor.
Comic Book detailed that during the announcement, a special video message coming from the actor was presented to the public. In the video, he expressed his gratitude to the Australian government for helping to secure the deal. He also said that he is greatly excited to be going back to his hometown to work and that he looks forward to introducing his Marvel friends.
The 20th Century Fox movie titled "Aliens: Paradise Lost" will also film in Australia. Together, the two Hollywood films will bring more than $300 million in offshore investment to Australia's economy, according to the same Coming Soon report. It will also provide more than 3,000 jobs to the people and utilize the services of the businesses in the country.
Wherever the shooting location may be, fans are just excited to know more about the film. So far, Joblo has confirmed that the Hulk will be teaming up with the god from Asgard in the upcoming third sequel of the series. Mark Ruffalo will reprise his role as Bruce Banner and together, he and Thor will set off to fight a battle against a new enemy from a distant planet.
But aside from the Hulk, rumors say that a female superhero will also be joining the team. In a report by The Guardian, it said that the character Valkyrie will be playing a role in the film. If ever the rumors are true, this will be the character's first time to be part of a live-action film. The source stated that Valkyrie first appeared in "The Avengers" comic book in 1970. She is known to be the leader of the Valkyrior. Aside from that she is also a love interest of Thor according to the comics.
"Thor: Ragnarok" is scheduled to arrive in theaters on Nov. 3, 2017.
