Tim Curry Stroke: Star Recovering At Home

Tim Curry is recovering at home after suffering a stroke, which is reported to have struck on Thursday night. The 67-year-old British actor apparently suffered the stroke while at his Los Angeles home, but sources say that Curry is recovering well.

"Tim is doing great," Marcia Hurwitz, Curry's agent, told The Daily Mail. "He absolutely can speak and is recovering at this time and is in great humor."

Curry is probably best known for starring in "The Rocky Horror Picture Show," playing Dr. Frank-N-Furter. He has also appeared on Broadway and in films such as "Annie" and Stephen King's "It." He provided the voice of many characters, as well as recording several albums.

Curry never married and has no children; he focused on his career and chose to surround himself with several intimate friends instead. Fans have reached out to the star and wished him a safe and speedy recovery. The news came as a blow to all those who know and enjoy Curry's entertainment.

"Keep Tim Curry in your thoughts as he recovers at home from a stroke. Dr. F., sending love your way!" Broadway Buzz tweeted.

"I really hope he gets well soon! He is such an awesome actor and we have lost too many recently. I loved him in 'The Three Musketeers' as well as Rocky Horror," Daily Mail reader Linda Corbin posted.

"My heart is breaking… Have love[d] Tim for over 30 years. Met him in New York back in the early 80s. He was just so sweet… I pray he gets well soon. Sending good thoughts and much love… Your (sic) one of the greatest!" added Easther.
