Tim Tebow News: Tim Tebow Wants to 'Adopt a Child from Every Continent'

Tim Tebow sets his sight on another lofty goal: adoption. Since it's Tebow being discussed here, of course the plan has to be a little more elaborate than usual. The former football star wants to adopt a child from each and every continent.

In an interview with People, Tim Tebow reveals how he dreams of having a family of his own someday. The former National Football League (NFL) quarterback tells the publication how badly he wants to adopt a child.

"You know what I think would be awesome? If I could adopt a kid from every continent. I think that would be a pretty cool goal," Tim Tebow said. "I want to sit around the dinner table every night and see kids from Africa, Asia, Europe, South America, right here in the States. How cool would that be? It's one of my favorite things to dream about."

The former football player is now focused on his fledgling baseball career, but Tim Tebow also has several things running on the side. There's his regular spot as a SEC Network television commentator. He also has his Tim Tebow Foundation to run — the charitable institution just launched its third "Night to Shine," a prom event for people with special needs all over the world.

Tim Tebow is also single at the moment, as he said to People. When not focused on his sports career and other work, he's also searching for a compatible match — preferably someone holding the same family values as he does, according to Bleacher Report.

"Of course I want a woman who I'm attracted to," Tim Tebow said. "That's a very big part of it. But I'm looking for someone who loves Jesus and loves people. Someone who makes me want to be a better person for her. And she has to want kids, and has to want to adopt. That's a requirement." he added, emphasizing how eager the former quarterback wants to adopt a child or seven.
