Tim Tebow will make his minor league debut this week when the Columbia Fireflies take on the Augusta GreenJackets on April 6 at Spirit Communications Park in Columbia, South Carolina.
He will have the chance to showcase his baseball skills at a bigger stage this season. And while he takes the next step in his journey to the big leagues, Tebow remains as grounded as ever as he continues to keep his faith at the forefront of everything he does.
"It impacts me daily. It impacts me in how I treat people. How I pursue life, my vantage point. How I interact with people. Hopefully in how I'm a little more patient with people and certain things," he said, according to FOX News.

"And how I treat people, but my faith is something that changes the way I act, the way I live, the way I think, the way I breathe, everything, because it puts things into perspective especially what matters and that's something I'm so very grateful for," he continued.
Tebow may not be a missionary like his parents. But he can still impact a lot of lives by using his celebrity status to spread the word of God.
Meanwhile, Tebow will go under the microscope when the season begins and his detractors are going to go after him once again. Well, they didn't really stop talking, but it will probably get worse now that he's getting nearer to the big leagues.
A lot of athletes have used negativity as a fuel to make them play better, but Tebow's not going to do that. In fact, he said he's not going to focus on the negativity at all. That's good to hear. His detractors may continue to criticize him for pursuing a career in baseball, but his supporters will always have his back and they know his influence stretches beyond the field.
