Tom Brady said he and his wife Gisele Bundchen are still together
Rumors that the power couple are having "troubles" in their marriage have surfaced recently, but Tom Brady denies that he and his wife, Gisele Bundchen, have separated.
The two celebrities were flooded by speculations that they have split due to Brady's alleged role in the Deflategate scandal before the last Super Bowl, and has caused stress to the couple. Bundchen was not seen during her husband's court hearing, and was also not there to watch his first preseason game. Others speculated that it was the beginning of the end for the two.
Brady was accused of tampering footballs, specifically during the New England Patriots' fight against the Indiana Colts. However, a judge overturned NFL's decision to suspend the athlete for four games, and Brady is now free to go back in the field this Sept. 10, when they fight against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
The quarterback refutes the rumors and said that Gisele is his biggest supporter, according to his interview with WEEI 93.7 FM in Boston. "I'm a lucky man. I've been very blessed with support from my family and certainly her, and there's no bigger supporter that I have than her and vice versa. I've been very blessed to have an incredible relationship with my life partner, and I don't think anything will ever get in the way of that," Brady explained.
Even with controversies following them, Brady and Bundchen were seen together in New York City last week hand-in-hand. A source confirmed to People that the two are still together. "She's being a supportive wife. Just like anybody whose husband would be going through something like this," the source added.
The 38-year-old NFL player and the 35-year-old supermodel have been married since 2009, and have two kids together named Benjamin and Vivian.
"We're in a great place, I'll just say that," Brady finally said.
