'Tom Clancy's The Division' News: Double Rewards and Celebration Emote Available Now, More Features Coming Later This Year

'Two major content updates' are in development now and are expected to be released soon for 'The Division'

There's a celebration going on inside "Tom Clancy's The Division" right now, and players who take part in the festivities can gain some useful rewards as well as a special emote.

Detailed in a new post on the game's official website are the different timed rewards and bonuses that have been made available as part of the anniversary celebration.

First off, players who go after High Value Targets now up until March 11 will be on the receiving end of double rewards that should prove to be useful as they continue to play in Year 2.

Once that timed event ends, players will then be able to earn double Field Proficiency caches each time they fill up the Field Proficiency bar. The Field Proficiency-based timed event will remain live inside the game until March 16.

Also, there is a new Celebration emote as well as 200 premium credits waiting for players who log into the game between March 9 and March 16.

Beyond the ongoing celebration, there are other notable new features coming to "The Division" before this year is up.

As developers also noted in the aforementioned post, "two major content updates" are set to be released and one of these is due out in the summer.

Among the additions that will be included in the first content update are Seasons that will feature some special missions as well as Feats that will call on players to accomplish particular tasks in order to earn cosmetic patches.

Developers have yet to reveal when the second major content update will be released, so fans will have to stay tuned to hear more about that.

Bug fixes and balance tweaks are also expected to be released throughout the second year of the game.

More news about the significant additions coming to "Tom Clancy's The Division" should be made available soon.
