'Tom Clancy's The Division' News: More Additions Could Still Be Released For The Game, Announcement Could Be Made March 8
Development of new 'Avatar' game not expected to impact 'The Division,' according to Ubisoft
"Tom Clancy's The Division" players were on the receiving end of some hefty additions recently in the form of the "Last Stand" expansion pack and Update 1.6. But there's a chance that these may not be the final features released for the game.
In a new post on the game's official website, developers teased that they still "have a few things planned" for the game, adding that players will want to watch out for these.
As developers also pointed out, the anniversary of the game's release, which would be March 8, is also coming soon.

Perhaps, developers will use that special day to share their announcement related to "The Division." What's unclear though is if this announcement will be related to some new content, some needed fixes or if it may even be related to a possible sequel, so players will have to stay tuned.
Developers also indicated that they are checking out some issues that have popped up recently.
To be more specific, Extended Magazines and Dx12 have apparently been causing some problems inside the game. Fixes for these issues could be released soon, though developers have yet to attach exact dates of arrival to them.
In related news, Ubisoft recently reassured fans that the development of the new "Avatar" game will not directly affect "The Division."
According to the statement shared by Ubisoft to Eurogamer, "Avatar's development has no impact on the team working on The Division." Fans previously expressed their concerns that the announcement of the "Avatar" game could adversely affect the one they are playing now, especially since it looks like Massive Entertainment will be working on both tiltes, but that will apparently not be the case, at least according to Ubisoft.
For now, players will just have to wait and see what else developers may have planned for "Tom Clancy's The Division," and they may hear more about that soon enough.
