Toni Braxton Mansion for Sale After Bankruptcy: $1.1 Million

Grammy Award-winning singer Toni Braxton is finally selling her home after attempts to salvage it following her bankruptcy filing have failed.

Braxton has sold over 60 millions albums during her career, which began in 1989. Last year she was inducted into the Georgia Hall of Fame. But despite a handful of chart-topping songs and a 2011 reality series, the singer was still forced into bankruptcy in 2010, citing $50 million in debts.

During her bankruptcy filing, the singer attempted to keep her million-dollar Georgia home, located in Duluth. Braxton purchased the home for $1.5 million in 2004. Now, according to TMZ, the singer has been forced to sell the house.

The house features 11,400 square feet, 6 bedrooms, 6 baths, an acre of land, jacuzzi tub, gourmet kitchen and a library. She has listed it for $1.1 million according to the site, which is far beneath her original purchasing price. The house was also the backdrop for Braxton's 2011 reality series, titled "Braxton Family Values."

Her latest single, "I Heart You" was released in March and was ranked number one on the Hot Dance Club Songs Billboard list. More recently, Braxton and her family have attempted to pitch a daytime talk show, according to the Huffington Post.

"Toni, Traci, Towanda and Trina are all in LA right now, pitching a talk show," a Los Angeles TV executive told the publication a few days ago. "Think 'The View' but with a lot of sass! There will be the Braxton sisters' version of 'Hot Topics,' called 'Spill the T,' plus gossip, relationships, fashion, makeover segments and celebrity guests. They have even gotten their mom to do an 'Ask Mommy' advice segment. A fun, fun show."
