Tottenham vs Lazio Live Stream: Watch Online Europa League Soccer (Team News)

Tottenham vs Lazio is one of the most exciting matches taking place Thursday evening in the Europa League. The match kicks off at 3.05 p.m. ET and can be watched online through live stream (details below).

Tottenham and Lazio are very equally matched sides, and both will fancy their chances at getting the three points from this game. Tottenham may be slightly more adventurous playing with their home crowd behind them, and Lazio are likely to take in a very Italian style of football by sitting back deep, ensuring their defense keeps a clean sheet, and trying to build up attacks slowly through possession football.

Tottenham have had a stuttering start to the new season which has not got off to as good a start as the Spurs faithful will have hoped for. However, they are coming off a very good victory at the weekend and they will be confident coming into the Lazio tie.

Spurs' boss Andre Villas-Boas is set to make a number of changes from the side that beat Reading in the English Premier League match at the weekend, and it has been reported that he will rest Brad Friedel in goal. Taking his place is likely to be 11.8 million pound signing from Lyon, Huge Lloris, who would be making his Tottenham debut if he gets the nod.

Striker Emmanuel Adebayor will miss the Lazio game with a hamstring injury, and among the other names still out are Scott Parker (Achilles), Heurelho Gomes (ankle) and Jake Livermore (groin).

Younes Kaboul and Benoit Assou-Ekotto (both knee injuries) have also been reported as unfit coming into tonight's match.

Villas-Boas has said of Lloris, "The first two days after the international week (and before the Reading game) were more like recovery days for him. From then on he was training more with (goalkeeping coach) Tony Parks to get used to his methods, which is very, very important. And obviously he mixed in with what we were doing on the pitch," according to BBC Sport.

"The only thing we can say is that his talent is immense and easily visible from the time he has trained with us."

Villas-Boas is the perfect manager to lead Tottenham into the Europa League this season, having won the tournament with Porto in just 2011. He has already insisted that Spurs take the competition seriously and see it is a prime chance to get some European silverware into the White Hart Lane cabinet.

The manager has said, "It does seem a long time since I won it with Porto. A lot of things have happened since then. The memories are still present but at this time I can't live off the past. In our position we can't think too much about the past. In this life you constantly have to motivate yourself and put pressure on yourself to win more trophies. This time it would be wonderful to win it again for Tottenham."

Lazio though will be a tough task for Spurs, and the Italian side have won all three of their opening games in Serie A so far this season.
