Town Hall & Barbarians Upgrade Rumors: A New Hero & Single Player Map For 'Clash of Clans'

Fans of "Clash of Clans" are excited as game developer Supercell will have new updates during the upcoming ClashCon Gaming Event at Helsinki, Finland on Oct. 24. Expected updates are a Level 11 Town Hall upgrade and Level 8 Barbarians. There are rumours that a new single player map might be included with new achievements and quests plus a third Hero will be added after the King and Queen.

For now, gamers can only reach Town Hall 10. Updates for the month of September included Lightning Spells being upped at levels 5 and 6, while Town Hall 10 can now level up its Lightning spell to level 7. The blue Lightning 11 walls became lava walls, There were also other updates like the Poison, Earthquake, and Freeze spells. Supercell had, early this year, rolled out updates for Archers and Barbs.

But October's updates are going to be amazing as expectations are much higher. GottaBeMobile listed major updates that fans are expecting. Most wanted are the Clan War tournaments, which would give players the chance to fight in clan-vs-clan tournaments.

The aim of tournaments is to move among the ranks of gamers to the top position on the Tournament Board. After winning a war, a gamer has the chance to rival another clan war and if the gamer wins, he can move forward into another challenge.

There are four spots in the Dark Barracks of "Clash of Clans" with a "coming soon" tagline. These spots are likely to be populated by Supercell by placing "new upgrades and powers."

It has been rumoured among the gaming community that these updates to "Clash of Clans" are simply mind-blowing and Android Origin considers the update "brilliant."

Given the enthusiasm towards the game since its inception three years ago, Supercell wants to give its fan-base a new gaming experience and has been hyping up the event where it is going to announce the updates. Thanking its large fan-base, Marika Appel, the Community Manager at Supercell talked to Pocketgamer.biz and said, "Our fanbase is certainly genuine, and very, very dedicated. The reception of "Clash of Clans" has continued to surprise us since its launch three years ago and we think it absolutely shows that the lines between 'casual' and 'core' are not as clear as people once thought they were."

Fans have been requesting for another army troop, but that might be wishful thinking right now. We just have to wait until October 24 for the new updates on Android and iOS.
