Trafi App Reaches the United States; Guarantees Accurate Traffic Information
A Europe-based startup goes to the United States to introduce a new traffic navigation app
There will be days when our bodies surrender to the spells of a bed weather. There are also times when very important tasks squeeze in our day and yet we wake up already half an hour late to start ticking off our to-do list. We end up wishing we can just teleport or rush directly without pause towards the place where we need to be.
Today, that wish can be close to possible. With unending innovations and amazing technology right on our fingertips, we can travel without having to go through ugly, time-consuming gridlocks.
From Europe to the US
Europe had it first: the Trafi App.
The developers initially launched the app last March this year. In a report by First Post, The app's group later on decided to bring it to the people of Pune by June.
The company partnered with Pune's Municipal Corporation to gauge in a much-detailed traffic data.
With United States' busy streets, everyone wishes to find the best commute and route to take during the morning rush.
Focus on busy US streets
After taking Europe's digital alley by storm, the App is now set to keep an eye on United States' busy lanes. Those residing in New York, Dallas-Forth Worth, Los Angeles, Houston and Chicago may now download the app and witness real-time traffic data around their cities.
The app can be accessed even if you do not have internet services available. The user can put it on offline mode to get the app's traffic advice. According to First Post, the app allows commuters to view routes on metros, trains and buses along with real-time timetables and information of the location of transportation stops and their arrival time.
User-friendly interface
Trafi assures users to enjoy an interface with the following merged features: crowd-sourced reports, real-time traffic indicators with appropriate algorithms. This will allow them to get precise travel data. Developers of the app claims that Trafi is the most accurate traffic app available in the market as it can predict arrival and travel time more accurately than the other existing traffic apps.
During its launch in the US, over 50 different sources of data in Los Angeles were featured. Martynas Gudonavičius, the Chief Executive Officer of Trafi, told Yahoo that they are delighted to come up with "the most accurate transit data." The local partners and the app have achieved better quality traffic navigation interface and have consistently helped commuters choose better routes, enabling them to traverse more easily through "the most complex cities" such as São Paulo, Moscow, Mumbai or Jakarta. Gudonavičius added that it will be the start of their venture as they "continue to expand to new markets."
The London-based startup hopes to "[bring] the biggest coverage and data quality" that will be more enhanced in the coming days.
