'Transformers 5' to Feature Megan Fox's Return?

"Transformers 5" will not have a crossover with "G.I. Joe" despite earlier speculations, but it may feature the return of Megan Fox, who previously had a nasty beef with director Michael Bay.

Megan Fox starred in the first two installments of the robot movie, but Michael Bay removed her from the third film after they had a deep misunderstanding. Since the two appear to have patched things up already, rumor has it that Fox will be part of the "Transformers 5" cast, according to Movie News Guide.

Fox had played the female lead role in "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles," a movie that Bay produced. This prompted speculations that the two have already settled their differences. Fox's fans are also hoping that Bay will allow her to star in the next "Transformers" franchise even if there are already a lot of changes in the story line, the report details.

For Fox, a role in "Transformers 5" will give her career a major boost. However, nothing has been confirmed as of now. What is known is that Mark Wahlberg will still be part of the upcoming movie, the report relays.

Meanwhile, Bay had announced that "Transformers 5" will mark the last time that he will direct the franchise, Christian Today reports. However, there is still a possibility that he will direct the next movie after that.

While there were earlier speculations that Bay will no longer direct "Transformers 5," Bay told Rolling Stone in an interview that he still enjoys doing his job.

The upcoming movie will reveal what will happen to the humans on Earth. It will also feature Optimus' fate and the events in Cybertron. There are rumors that the fifth installment of the film will focus on the Autobots and Decepticons rather than the human characters, the report reveals.

"Transformers 5" is set to be released in the second half of 2017, but the exact launch date is yet to be announced.
