TV Stars Stuck in Elevator: Modern Family Actors Among 15 in Elevator Drama (VIDEO)
TV stars got stuck in elevator this week as they were on the way to a fundraising event. A group from TV show "Modern Family" were reportedly stuck in a high profile incident which took place on Friday night.
Among those caught up in the incident were Julie Bowen, Eric Stonestreet and Jesse Tyler Ferguson.
The trio were stuck in an elevator at the Sheraton Kansas City Hotel at the Crown Center with about 15 other people.
It has not been clearly reported about how long they were exactly stuck in the elevator, but according to Jesse Tyler Ferguson he believes it was at least 45 minutes before they were rescued.
To explain about the incident the Modern Family actor took to social media site Twitter to post a message saying, "This is us right now. 45 minutes stuck in this elevator."
The trio of Modern Family actors were reportedly heading to a fundraising event looking to raise funds with Kids Night Out 2013 for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Kansas City. The three were in fact expected to headline the event.
However, the elevator episode caused a significant delay for the event, and the by the time they were rescued and took to the stage at the fundraiser they were already an hour behind.
Fellow Modern Family Emmy Award winner, Eric Stonestreet posted to his social media page: "I honestly handled being stuck in an elevator for 50min better than I thought. All @jessetyler did was pass wind."
