'Two Worlds III' Officially Announced, 'Two Worlds II' Gets Engine Update

Fans of the action role-playing game franchise "Two Worlds" are in for a treat as developer Reality Pump Studios and publisher TopWare Interactive announced that there will be a third installment to the game. According to a report by Eurogamer, "Two Worlds III" is officially happening.

Topware Interactive made the announcement via their official Facebook wherein they wrote that they have already started working on the third part of their blockbuster RPG series. They are currently in the concept stage and in the next three years, the game will be in development. It will most possibly hit store shelves by the year 2019.

But while waiting for the third installment, gamers can revel in the new engine update that will be coming to "Two Worlds II." PC Gamer noted that the said engine will bring in more detail to the game. It will also add in a high-definition GUI and will allow compatibility with both Linux and SteamOS. Aside from that, the engine update will have achievements, co-op multiplayer and other changes and tweaks that are not yet itemized.

The game will also be getting more content in the days to come. As stated in Attack of the Fanboy, there will be a new DLC that will contain eight new multiplayer maps and two single-player expansions titled as "Shattered Embrace" and "Two Worlds II: Call of the Tenebrae," which is the first one to come out at the end of the second quarter of 2016. It's also detailed that it will focus on the Hero's return to Antaloor, which is where he will see with his own eyes the shocking murder of DarPha.

Moreover, the killers are "never-before-seen tribe of hideous, rat-like creatures" identified as "The Chosen." They possess a mysterious, powerful new magic and they are out to carry out a genocidal plot that will threaten every living creature in Antaloor. Only the Hero can find a way to stop these creatures.
