That means UCLA and UAB will get to face-off in a rematch of November's game in the Bahamas when UCLA ran out 88-76 winners. However, this game obviously has a lot more at stake, and will decide who snatches a place in the South Regional Semi-final in Houston.

UAB junior guard Robert Brown is one person who is delighted that the Bruins made it through, and he is looking for revenge for their defeat earlier in the season. He has said ahead of the game: "We do have a little payback for them, and we want to play them."

UCLA senior Norman Powell said, "We know they're a great team. We know we're a great team. So it's going to be fun to play them again."
