UFC News 2015: Lightweight Champ Rafael Dos Anjos, Nate Diaz Call Out Conor McGregor After Wins AT UFC Orlando

UFC lightweight champion Rafael dos Anjos and former 155-pound title contender Nate Diaz went on to call out featherweight champion Conor McGregor after their respective wins on Saturday night.

Dos Anjos, one of the last two Brazilian champions of the UFC, made quick work of top contender Donald "Cowboy" Cerrone during their main event fight in Orlando, Florida. It was the second time both men would be meeting inside the Octagon since their first encounter in August 2013.

While the first fight went all three rounds to the judges' scorecards, wherein dos Anjos prevailed, this time around, the fight did not go past the first round. The Kings MMA standout showed dominance throughout the fight, in which Cerrone had no answers for. Dos Anjos ended up with the victory via technical knockout at the 1:06 mark of the first round, marking his first successful title defense since winning the belt from Anthony Pettis in March.

During his post-fight interview with Joe Rogan, dos Anjos first thanked his teammates and coaches, like how every winning fighter does. But as the interview went on, he then called out brash-talking Conor McGregor, who just won the undisputed featherweight strap a week ago at UFC 194 against long-time champion José Aldo. McGregor won the bout also via first round stoppage, within 13 seconds of the fight. It marks the fastest finish in UFC title fight history.

Given "The Notorious'" previous declaration of his intent to fight for a lightweight title next, dos Anjos actually welcomed the idea and issued a challenge to McGregor.

"I want to fight you in Brazil, I will go to Ireland to face you there," Dos Anjos said. "Whatever you want, man. I'm here to stay."

But apparently, other fighters also want a piece of McGregor, which many of them describe as "the money fight." Former lightweight title contender Nate Diaz also went on to challenge McGregor after his victory over fellow Ultimate Fighter alum Michael Johnson.

Diaz, however, was more candid with his challenge that he made through a profanity-laced rant on American national television.

"Conor McGregor, you're taking everything I worked for, m**********r," Diaz said in his own post-fight interview with Joe Rogan. "I'mma fight your f*****g a**. You know what's the real fight, what's the real money fight is me."
