UFC News 2016: Jose Aldo Accuses Conor McGregor of Being on Steroids; Daniel Cormier Releases Official Statement After Pulling out of Fight
Former long-time featherweight champion José Aldo threw some serious accusations towards current champion Conor McGregor.
In a report by MMA Fighting, Aldo explained why he did not take the offer to face "The Notorious" at UFC 196, as the late replacement for injured lightweight champion Rafael Dos Anjos.
"Why would I rematch him in a different weight class with no belt?" Now, to make this fight at 155, where he was full of juice in his body, where he hides and nobody tests him, only when he gets to Las Vegas, a week before the fight, and then it's way easier for you to clean the body and fight." he said.

Aldo, along with former lightweight champion Frankie Edgar, were offered to step in as replacement. But in the end, the opportunity was given to former lightweight title contender Nate Diaz, and the fight was held at welterweight, in a non-title contest.
Diaz, for his part, was able to shock the mixed martial arts world by handing McGregor his first UFC loss via second round rear-naked choke.
The two men, however, will be facing each other in a rematch as the headliners for UFC 200 on July 9th. Like at UFC 196, the fight between Diaz and McGregor will be a non-title welterweight bout.
Meanwhile, light heavyweight champion Daniel Cormier spoke up for the first time after he was forced out of his scheduled title fight against Jon Jones at UFC 197 on April 23rd. "DC" had to pull out of the said contest due to a leg injury that he sustained during training.
And in a statement he released through his official Facebook page, he apologized to UFC executives Lorenzo Fertitta and Dana White, as well as opponent Jon Jones for failing to show up on fight night.
"This truly saddens me, but as with everything else in life, it goes on. The recovery should not take very long and I can't wait to compete and defend my title again. For all the fans, thanks for your support, I appreciate each and every one of you," an excerpt of his statement reads.
