UFC News 2016: Ronda Rousey And Conor McGregor Criticized By Floyd Mayweather's Uncle Jeff

Floyd Mayweather's uncle Jeff had some words for former UFC bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey and current featherweight champion Conor McGregor.

Both Rousey and McGregor, who are considered as the UFC's top draws and the current faces of professional mixed martial arts, experienced shocking losses over the last four months. After a 12-0 run (all victories ending by stoppage), "Rowdy" was dealt with her first professional MMA loss when fellow former champion Holly Holm kick knocked her out during via one head kick in the second round of their UFC 193 title fight at the Etihad Stadium in Melbourne.

"The Notorious" on the other hand, had his hype train derailed when former lightweight title challenger Nate Diaz defeated him at UFC 196, also via second round stoppage. McGregor, however, was forced to submission via rear-naked choke.

Another common denominator between Rousey and McGregor is that they have both issued respective challenges toward retired boxing champion Floyd Mayweather Jr. Now that they have been defeated, uncle Jeff feels he has had the last laugh.

Speaking to FightHype, the elder Mayweather first criticized McGregor and the people who have defended him for his loss. According to Jeff, had the Irishman won against Diaz, he would have been the "greatest thing since ice cream".

But since he lost and people have given him credit for jumping up 25 pounds, Mayweather says McGregor deserves zero credit. Jeff did talk about Rousey in passing, but decided to fire at Dana White's previous claims about her defeating her male counterparts in a fight.

"Everybody listening to Dana White talking that stupid s--- about Ronda Rousey beating up men and now they jump on Conor McGregor's bandwagon, they don't got no m------------g wagon no more," Mayweather said. "That s--- is over with."

Mayweather also went on to demean both Rousey and McGregor's instant mainstream recognition, saying their "little moment of fame" is over and done.
