Uncharted 4 Release Date 2015: Confirmed Will Be Launched as PS4 Exclusive
The next title to Sony's Uncharted franchise was revealed at the end of Sony's conference during the Electronic Entertainment Expo earlier this year. The title will be called Uncharted: Thief's End and will probably get a release sometime in 2015.
During the end of Sony's conference, a trailer video was shown which revealed a high-definition Drake Sullivan waking up and beginning his journey through a bleak environment. With such a high-definition video, it is speculated that the game will come out on the PlayStation 4.
Naughty Dog, the studio behind the game, has not announced any plot details or any kind of release date for the game. Most likely, Nathan Drake will be forced back into his previous profession despite being retired from the last title.
Uncharted is an action-adventure third person shooter game which was first released 2007. The game follows treasure hunter Nathan "Nate" Drake and his mentor Victor "Sully" Sullivan in their adventures to uncover various historical mysteries.
Gameplay for Uncharted combines action-adventure elements with 3D platforming on a third-person perspective. The player will control the Drake in the game and will fight off enemies, climb ledges, and traverse challenging terrain while progressing.
A wide variety of weapons are present in the game but Drake can only carry one sidearm, one main weapon such as a rifle or a shotgun, and a handful of grenades. These weapons can be found throughout the world or with downed enemies.
From Uncharted 2: Among Thieves, cooperative multiplayer was introduced where up to three players can work together to progress through the levels, with one player being Drake and the other two being companions.
