'Under the Dome' season 3 episode 12 spoilers and episode 11 recap: Eva gives birth; can Barbie save his daughter?
In the next episode of "Under the Dome" titled "Incandescence," the resistance faces more problems as the kinship grows stronger. The synopsis of the episode reads: When the Dome calcification process accelerates, the people of Chester's Mill have exactly 24 hours before the barrier's break down, causing everyone inside to suffocate. This puts added pressure on Joe as he struggles to complete the device that will bring down the Dome.
In the meantime, Barbie and Julia will try to save his daughter from the kinship, while Big Jim tries to manage an explosive Hektor who is hell bent on killing everyone who has been infected and does not want anyone from Chester's Mill to escape the Dome. The episode will surely set the tone for the series finale as the show was not renewed for another season. This season marks the last season for the science fiction series.
In the previous episode, it began when Julia and Norrie returned to the HQ, in order to report what they had seen to Hektor and Big Jim. Julia told Hektor and Big Jim about Eva who had grown really big in a short amount of time. Big Jim wanted to kill Eva and her child, but Hektor stressed the importance of Christine's DNA as it holds the key to the cure. So, Julia and Big Jim headed over to the barn where Eva was before. Unfortunately, they are caught by Junior and some other members while they collected a strand of Christine's hair. Luckily, Aktion men shoot the members as Big Jim agrees to make Junior the guinea pig.

Meanwhile, Joe was still working on the device that will bring down the Dome and Christine gave him some information about a species that wiped her home planet and will without a doubt do the same to earth. Christine also explained that in order to bring the Dome down, Joe will need seven amethysts and the egg that were all destroyed by Big Jim. All that was left was a giant amethyst that Joe broke into seven pieces with the help of a kinship member.
Barbie, on the other hand, tried to save Eva but to no avail as she did not care about the young ladies who sacrificed themselves for her child. He drugged Eva and brought her to the old motel where he was met by Julia. Julia helped Barbie deliver his child with another woman. He took the child but eventually let Eva hold the baby. The child bonded with Eva and when Barbie tried to take the child he was thrown out the window. He and Julia barely escaped.
Christine arrived at the motel only to see that Eva has given birth and that the baby had already sucked the life force out of her, making her a normal human once more. Christine took the baby and then she killed Eva.
