'Under the Dome' Season 3 Spoilers, Plot: Big Jim and Cronies Form Resistance Against Christine and the Brainwashed Townspeople

A battle between two sides is about to arise in this week's airing of CBS' hit TV series "Under the Dome" Season 3.

According to spoiler reports, the segment titled "Breaking Point" will see Big Jim (Dean Norris), Julia (Rachelle Lefevre), Joe (Colin Ford), Norrie (McKenzie Lintz) and Hunter (Max Ehrich) going up against Christine (Marg Helgenberger) and her mob of brainwashed townspeople. A big confrontation is ultimately expected to happen between the two opposing parties as they determine who takes control of the doomed town.

The band will also try to put a stop on Christine's new plan for a massive excavation project. As reported by Carter Matt, the former therapist is ordering the people to dig out tunnels in the caves underneath the town.

Big Jim, on the other hand, will tap into Hunter's exceptional technical skills to try to put a word to the outside world.

Details for the episode after this week's showing are also revealed by Carter Matt.

This segment, titled "Legacy," will feature more unexpected alliances. Its synopsis read as follows:

"The Resistance, the citizens not under Christine's (Marg Helgenberger) control, join forces with an unexpected ally: Hektor Martin (Eriq La Salle), the nefarious head of Aktaion. Despite Hektor revealing more about the Dome's origins and helping to strike back at it, Big Jim and Julia still worry he will betray them. Meanwhile, Hunter receives encrypted files that give disturbing insights into the final effect the Dome will have on the infected townspeople."

 For the meantime, catch tonight's episode of "Under the Dome" Season 3 titled "Breaking Point" at 10 p.m. on CBS.
