'Under the Dome' Season 3 Spoilers, Plot News: Big Jim and Julia Concoct Plans to End Christine's Control on Chester's Mill
Events are about to get even messier and more intense as the third season of the hit supernatural drama TV series "Under the Dome" continues this week with an episode that will see the potential fall of the dome.
Spoiler reports indicated that that the episode titled "Plan B" will find Big Jim (Dean Norris) and Julia (Rachelle Lefevre) working out on a plan to end Christine's (Marg Helgenberger) control over the people of Chester's Mill once and for all.
It is said that this scheme would involve the two "initiating a life-or-death" plot that would also drag Barbie (Mike Vogel) and Eva (Kylie Bunbury) into the fray.
Eva, on her part, will be revealed in this episode to be pregnant with the future queen of the kinship. It is thought that Barbie is the father of the child, however, it could also be someone else's.
The promo trailer for the segment shows the kinship paying their respects to Eva who is now carrying the child of the prophecy inside her.
Meanwhile, Joe (Colin Ford) and Norrie (Mackenzie Lintz) will be conducting a more thorough research to better understand the Dome's ultimate agenda. In relation to this, Hunter (Max Ehrich) stumbles upon more information about the true head of the Aktaion, the despicable private corporation that wants to harness the Dome's mystic energy.
On related news, the CBS panel at the Television Critics Association press tour in Beverly Hills, California, this week reveals the fate of the scripted program plus a big spoiler item.
CBS Entertainment Chair Person Nina Tassler told the press during the occasion that "the dome is coming down at the end of this season [3]." This surprising development will "opens up a host of other storytelling opportunities" for the show.
Despite this recent turn out of events, fans would still have to wait for the network's confirmation on whether they will greenlight a Season 4 or not.
For the meantime, "Under the Dome" Season 3 airs Thursday, at 10 p.m. on CBS.
