'UnReal' Season 3 Updates: Rachel Finds New 'Suitress' Hard To Manipulate
More than a year after Lifetime aired the finale of "UnReal" season 2, the network officially unveiled the trailer for the show's highly-anticipated third season along with its release date.
The trailer introduced the new "suitress" for the fictional reality show called "Everlasting." After two seasons of male suitors, the dating reality show will be led by the very first female suitor named Serena portrayed by "Master of Sex" alum Caitlin FitzGerald. She will be surrounded with a mansion-full of hunky, often shirtless bachelors who will try to win her heart.
Based on the trailer, the show's producer Rachel Goldberg (Shiri Appleby) and executive producer Quinn King (Constance Zimmer) will learn that their female suitor will be harder to manipulate compared to their past.
"She's smart," Rachel said in the trailer. "We can't handle her the same way."
But for Quinn, the new season of "Everlasting" will be more exciting based on the drama that will happen between the bachelors who will do everything to win. "That is television gold," the manipulative executive producer told the production staff of the reality show resembling ABC's long-running dating series "The Bachelor."
Reports revealed that some of the new bachelors for the upcoming season include a Wall Street investment banker named Jasper (Bart Edwards), a single dad and firefighter named Owen (Alex Hernandez), the surfer named August (Adam Demos), as well as the bad boy ballet dancer named Alexi (Alex Sparrow).
Other season 3 will also introduce new characters including the on-set psychologist named Dr. Simon (Brandon Jay McLaren), Chet Wilton's (Craig Bierko) new girlfriend named Crystal (Kassandra Clementi), new production assistant named Charlie (Chelsea Hobbs), as well as Jay's (Jeffrey Bowyer-Chapman) new love interest named Xavier (Jaime Callica).
Lifetime is slated to air the newest episodes of "UnReal" season 3 starting Monday, Feb. 26, 2018, at 10 p.m. EDT.
