Upcoming Android Phones 2015: This Semi High-End Device Only Costs $210
The last quarter of 2014 marked the first time that a Chinese manufacturer took the crown from Samsung as China's top smartphone manufacturer. And in the hope of following Xiaomi's footsteps, another Chinese brand wants to make a name for itself.
According to a recent report by GSM Arena, phone maker Elephone has just unleashed its newest flagship. Dubbed as the P8000, the device boasts some high-end specs, but is also priced at about $210.
For such a cheap price tag, buyers would be able to get a smartphone with a 5.5-inch display with Full HD (1920 x 1080) resolution, 3GB of RAM, a MediaTek MT6573 chipset, 16GB of internal memory, and expectedly a microSD card slot.
Other features of the device include worldwide LTE connectivity, a 13MP primary camera, a 5MP selfie shooter in front, and a massive 4,200mAh battery to power the device.
Fortunately, Android fanatics who want to get the latest Android version would be able to enjoy Android 5.0 Lollipop out of the box.
In the report, the device is aimed at the Chinese market and would try to follow the steps of other Chinese manufacturers such as Huawei, Lenovo, Xiaomi and ZTE.
We'll see in the coming weeks if the Elephone P8000 performs as well as advertised.
