USA vs Costa Rica Live Stream Free Soccer: Watch Online World Cup 2014 Qualifier Hexagonal Football

USA vs Costa Rica takes place on Friday night in a big World Cup 2014 Qualifier match. The United States are coming into this game on the back of a record 12 game win streak, which has seen them claim the Gold Cup 2013 title and also leaves them on the verge of confirming their spot in Brazil next year. The game kicks off at 10 p.m. ET and can be watched online through free live stream (details below).

Even though all the talk is about the USA's 12 match winning streak, tonight will see the United States try to set a new record – win a World Cup qualifying match in Costa Rica for the first time in their history. It's amazing that the United States have never managed to do that, but now is as good as a time as any to finally rewrite the history books.

When these two teams met in Colorado in March things ended in huge controversy when a massive blizzard consumed the game. However, the game was not called off, and the players battled their way through to the end, with the United States claiming the extraordinary win.

Costa Rica later lodged an official complaint with FIFA saying that the match should never have been allowed to finish in the horrendous weather conditions that obviously had a huge affect on the game.

The backlash against the United States in Costa Rica has been huge; they were refused access to a private terminal on their arrival this week to San Jose, and were forced to go through a public terminal where many Costa Rica fans bombarded them with chants of "No Fair Play USA!"

USA coach Jurgen Klinsmann remains focused on the job at hand though: "This is probably the biggest game in the year 2013 coming up in Costa Rica. We want to win there for the first time ever in World Cup Qualifying, and we want to get as close as possible to Brazil. I think everybody's optimistic. Everybody is confident but also very anxious about getting down to San Jose and getting started, so we're looking forward to it."
