'Vampire Diaries' Series Spoiler: Damon To Face Rayna On 'This Woman's Work' Episode

The upcoming Feb. 19 episode of the "Vampire Diaries" season seven will feature Damon Salvatore (Ian Somerhalder) coming face to face with the vampire huntress Rayna Cruz (Leslie-Anne Huff) for the very first time. This is after Enzo, played by Michael Malarkey, forces Damon to hunt down Rayna before she can hurt or kill more of their kind in Mystic Falls.

Design and Trends reported that after agreeing to what Enzo wants him to do, Damon finally stands in front of Rayna and is immediately reminded of his former girlfriend, Elena Gilbert (Nina Dobrev) as the two share striking physical features. Nonetheless, before Elena's memories could take over him, Damon also realizes just how strong the vampire huntress is.

Damon tells Rayna, "You look a lot like my girlfriend and her three doppelgangers…" before the vampire huntress pushes him against the door. It dawns on him that taking down Rayna is tantamount as she's a danger to the lives of the people he cares about.

Meanwhile, in the teaser of the upcoming episode 13 titled "This Woman's Work," Damon is seen talking to Stefan (Paul Wesley), warning him of the possible danger that Stefan is about to face.

"It's about to get worse. She's headed right for you," Damon can be heard telling his brother.

The succeeding scene shows a snippet of Rayna's capabilities as a vampire huntress.

The teaser also features Bonnie (Kat Graham) telling Stefan that Damon needs him, stressing the possibility that he might get killed.

"This Woman's Work" episode will also show how Caroline's (Candice Accola-King) supernatural pregnancy will risk her life.

Past episodes revealed that the character is heavy with Alaric (Matt Davis) and Jo's (Jodi Lyn O'Keefe) twins.

An article on TV Guide confirmed earlier that King and Wesley will still share the screen for some common scenes before their characters part ways following Caroline's decision to leave Stefan. The upcoming episodes of the show may also feature a rekindled romance between Stefan and his former love interest Valerie, played by Elizabeth Blackmore.
