'Vatican Miracle Examiner' Episode 12 Spoilers: Can Father Josef Overcome His Upcoming Test of Faith?
Father Julia and the rest of Galdoune have once again slipped Fathers Roberto and Josef's grasp. And it seems that they will continue to influence the events in the upcoming 12th episode of the Japanese anime series, "Vatican Miracle Examiner."
The Vatican priests' mission at the Saint Eligius Church almost took a gruesome turn for the worst when Roberto, Josef, along with the investigators Suskin and Bafi, found themselves right in the middle of one of Galdoune's headquarters. This was where the Galdoune members were printing all their counterfeit bills to fund their many different acts of greed across the world.
In line with this, Roberto and Josef also eventually proved that the miracle of the heavenly horn and rainbow lights at the altar were all done to divert any suspicions about what's been going on underneath the church. This has also subsequently led to the resolution of the Decapitating Clown murder that happened 32 years ago.
However, the very highlight of the episode came when Roberto and Josef found themselves once again face to face with Father Julia, who has previously been assumed dead. It turns out that he may, in fact, be Galdoune's sly and merciless leader.
He has also taken the opportunity to bribe Roberto and Josef to join Galdoune in exchange for the fulfillment of their deepest desires; that is, to become a bishop for Roberto, and Ryota's treatment for Josef.
In an after-credit scene, Josef received news that his younger brother, Ryota, was in critical condition. Could the desperation that is about to arise from this situation drive Josef to accept Julia's offer, which he has already previously rejected?
The depth of Josef's faith is about to be put to the test as the series reaches its climax. Will Roberto, who has previously managed to re-assert his faith in the midst of darkness, be able to keep his friend from doing any drastic moves for Ryota's sake?
Also, since the members of Galdoune are still at large, who knows what they will be up to next.
"Vatican Miracle Examiner" airs on Fridays at 10:30 p.m. JST on Tokyo MX and AT-X. Information on other broadcast schedules and online resources can be found on the series' official site. Episodes are also available for regions outside Japan via Amazon Prime's Anime Strike service.
