'Vice Principals' Season 2 Spoilers: Gamby Meets an Unexpected Guest on Spring Break
Next week on HBO's comedy series "Vice Principals," Neal Gamby (Danny McBride) is joined by an unexpected guest on his downtime this spring break.
As revealed in the synopsis of episode 7 of "Vice Principals" season 2, titled "Spring Break," Gamby has to deal with an unexpected and most likely uninvited guest as he enjoys a little time off the craziness of High School.
Elsewhere in the episode, Amanda Snodgrass (Georgia King) should have a life-changing encounter during her winter retreat.
The HBO comedy series, penned by Danny McBride, John Carcieri, and Jeff Fradley, will soon come to an end. This Sunday's episode will be the third to the last.
There might be a few episodes left, but HBO manages to pull through with near-perfect installments each week. Though the main characters Gamby and Lee Russell (Walton Goggins) have been torn apart by jealousy and their individual desires, each week they prove that their respect for each other trumps all that.
While Russell focused on his marriage, Gamby turned into everyone's favorite teacher. Jealous of that success, Russell has become even more emotionally distant from his vice principal.
Despite the rift between the two, Gamby respects his rival enough to reveal the scheme Ms. Abbott (Edi Patterson) and the rest of the faculty plotted to take down Russell from his post. The vice principal risked his new-found popularity and Abbott's love to tell the principal that they deliberately skipped on teaching the state test curriculum to their students. They want the school to generate failed scores, which they figured would lead to Russell's ousting and would put Gamby in that seat instead.
HBO opted to conclude "Vice Principals" with a nine-episode second season, with its final episode scheduled to air in Nov.
"Vice Principals" season 2 episode 7, titled "Spring Break," airs Sunday, Oct. 29 on HBO at 10:30 p.m.
