Vicki Gunvalson Brooks Ayers Cancer Update: Vicki Seeing a New Man After Ayers Cancer Controversy
The cancer controvery surrounding Brooks Ayers has definitely dragged "The Real Housewives of Orange County" (RHOC) Brooks Ayers through the mud for almost the entire latter half of the latest season. Now, as the two have gone separate ways permanently, it's no surprsie that Gunvalson is back into the dating scene, and as US Weekly reports, it seems that the reality star has already got herself a new man.
Insiders for the magazine say that the 53-year-old mother of two was spotted on date night with a mysterious man named Smith Walker. It is said that the two enjoyed dancing in a saloon called "The Ranch," as they were joined by another couple for dinner. Details on her new man are scarce in the meantime and many await if Walker will simply be a rebound for Vicky, who very recently got out of her turmoil of a relationship.
With this, Brooks may be starting to distance herself away from the cancer scandal of Ayers. After the latest season of the show ended, Ayers assumed that the doubts about his illness will finally come to rest. However, it seems that he spoke too soon as the recently ended 3-part reunion special had made it a hot topic once more. During one part of it, Gunvalson finally admitted that she wasn't completely buying Ayers story. She tells, "My gut says he doesn't have it." She further elaborated on why she felt like this, "I don't have any proof that he doesn't, and he won't give me enough proof that he does."

Quickly after saying this statement, Gunvalson later said that she still does believe Ayers, which Ayers used against her in a tell-all interview. Since then, many have doubted Gunvalson's innocence as well, and is now under fire for being Ayers' accomplice in his ruse. It is said that if the backlash continues, this can jeopardize Gunvalson's return for RHOC next season. Stars like Debra Messing also spoke about Gunvalson's confusing stand in the cancer scandal, as she recently tweeted to Andy Cohen, "@Andy Vicki has to go. For real. Totally unaccountable. Making herself the victim. Never said. I lied. He lied. Im sorry for hurting u all."
