Video Music Awards 2013 Nominees: Justin Timberlake and Macklemore Battle for 6 Victories

The 2013 MTV Video Music Awards are right around the corner and the list of nominees have been revealed by the entertainment giant.

Leading the nominees in six categories a piece are Justin Timberlake and producer rapper duo Macklemore and Ryan Lewis.

Bruno Mars has four nominations while Pink, Thirty Seconds to Mars, Miley Cyrus, and Robin Thicke have three.

Timberlake has previously won seven VMA awards. The 20/20 Experience is his first album since 2006.

The show is to take place at the Barclay's Center in Brooklyn, New York on August 25.

Fans may vote for their favorite artists up until August 24 at 6 p.m. ET, while the votes for Artist to Watch will continue live throughout the show.

The list of nominees was released through MTV's Instagram account with short videos.
