'Vikings' Season 4 Episode 9 Spoilers: Could 'Death All 'Round' See The End of Ragnar's Mighty Son?

The last episode of History Channel's hit historical fiction drama TV series "Vikings" Season 4 saw a trio of shocking deaths. This week's showing, meanwhile, might also see the end of one of the most important characters in the story.

Major spoiler alert for those who missed "Portage," Yidu, Kwenthrith, and Odo were all killed. The Chinese slave met her demise in the hands of her own master, King Ragnar, when she refused to give the latter his demands for the drug. Worse, she even brought up the topic about the slaughter of his people in Wessex, a very sensitive information which he keeps hidden from everyone for a long time.

Kwenthrith, meanwhile, was killed by King Ecbert's daughter-in-law and lover, Judith. The king himself was terrified for what had happened as he didn't really wanted the Mercian princess to die because she carried the baby of Aethelwulf plus she has the son of Ragnar.

Odo, on the other hand, suffered the betrayal of Roland who whipped him to death. The Iron Hand of Frankia now belongs to Rollo. As if that won't be enough, Gisla revealed to Emperor Charles that she is now pregnant with the former Viking's child.

The preview clip for the upcoming episode titled "Death All 'Round" hints of yet another gruesome death. In the video, Torvi can be seen walking towards Bjorn carrying a loaded crossbow.

The woman told Ragnar's warrior son that her estranged husband, Erlendur, has ordered her to kill him.

"Erlendur has told me to kill you to revenge the death of his father," she said.

Bjorn, who has been through a lot of dangerous times, seems not to flinch on the threat and instead replied, "What are you waiting for?"

The next scene then showed Torvi raising the Frankish weapon and shooting someone. Although the frames are quite indicative that Bjorn is the target, it is highly unlikely that the show will kill off one of the most important characters who, as earlier reported will be the next focus of the story.

"Vikings" Season 4 airs Thursdays, at 10 on History Channel.
