Vivica A. Fox to appear on 'Empire' season 2

The "Empire" world just keeps on getting bigger and better. According to Entertainment Weekly's report, Vivica A. Fox will now join the cast this upcoming season 2.

Fox, who is known for her role as Copperhead in the "Kill Bill" series, will appear as Cookie's (Taraji P. Henson) older sister. Her character will debut in Empire's episode 8, and will be in search of Cookie for unknown reasons. The hit Fox show's executive producer, Ilene Chaiken, teased that Fox's character might cause drama in the episodes to come. "Cookie's other family members are troublesome to say the least," she said.

The first season showcased the drama in the lives of the Lyon Family. Lucious Lyon (Terrence Howard), the CEO of Empire Entertainment, built his company from hustling and selling drugs in his early days. He is now diagnosed with ALS, and must now decide who will take over his "empire." His three sons, Andre (Trai Byers), Jamal (Jussie Smollett), or Hakeem (Bryshere Y. Gray), all have hidden agenda in getting the company's top position, and viewers saw the tension and power struggle among the family members in season 1.
