They are doing well at the moment as they have won their last five games in the league. They have wins over the Detroit Pistons, Chicago Bulls and most recently, the Atlanta Hawks.
Now they have a rematch and are looking for a repeat of the previous performance between the Hawks.
On the other hand, the Hawks are fourth in the East and can still realistically reach the third spot in the East with a string of good wins.
Before their loss to the Wizards, they had a good win streak as they won their last five straight and eight of their last nine before their earlier clash with Washington.
Against John Wall and the Wizards, the Hawks simply could not find the defence to stop Washington from scoring 117 points in the game.
In that battle, it was the fourth quarter that pushed the Wizards to win as they scored 28 points while only allowing the Hawks 16 to eventually win.
Along with Wall's 27 points, Bradley Beal had 25 points and went five of six from beyond the arc.
Marcin Gortat was also a big force underneath as he had 15 points in the game while shooting 67% from the field.
For the Hawks, Jeff Teague led the team with 23 points in the loss, while Tim Hardaway, Jr scored 16 points.
