Two teams who were busy in the trade deadline clash at the Verizon Center as the Washington Wizards host the Detroit Pistons in the regular season of the National Basketball Association.

The match-up is on February 19, 2016 at 7:00 PM ET.

This will only be the second time the two teams will meet but they are still scheduled to face each other two more times after this clash so expect a great battle between the Eastern Conference squads.

Both teams are hovering around the .500 mark this season with the Pistons at 27-27 to place fourth in the Central Division in the East. Despite sliding down the rankings, they are still expected to do well this second half of the season as they added even more pieces to their young group to move forward.

On the other hand, the Wizards are fourth in the Southeast Division with a 24-28 record but are only a few games behind the Atlanta Hawks who are on the top spot just to show how competitive this division actually is.

Despite an underwhelming start, the Wizards are hoping that the new piece that they've added to the team would help them in a positive way as they try to make that playoff push.

To help make their team stronger, the Wizards pulled off a trade that sent Markieff Morris from the Phoenix Suns to the capital in exchange for big men DeJuan Blair, Kris Humphries and a protected first-round pick.

This helps them get another scoring option other than John Wall and Bradley Beal and the youth gives the Wizards a great core.

On the other side, the Pistons were one of the busiest teams as they snagged Donatas Motiejunas and Marcus Thornton from the Houston Rockets for Joel Anthony and a protected pick.

In addition, the Pistons picked up Tobias Harris from the Orlando Magic for Brandon Jennings and Ersan Ilyasova which makes them an even more impressive team of young stars.
