Following the Complaints of the Original Game, "Watch Dogs 2" Has Been Improved
Many more are anticipating the release of "Watch Dogs 2"now that Ubisoft has been receptive to the complaints of the first game.
Ubisoft's 2014 game, "Watch Dogs" has received a lot of praise online but some gamers have criticized it for the mechanics, the protagonist and the graphics. However, the company has taken steps to improve "Watch Dogs 2" and majority of the gamers are keen to explore what the sequel has to offer.
"Watch Dogs 2" News, Improvements, Appeal
Executive VP Alain Corre stated in an interview with MCV UK that they are aware of the discontent and complaints of "Watch Dogs" players. In addition to addressing the issues, "Watch Dogs 2" also has new features and content to offer in terms of a new protagonist named Marcus, upgraded hacking feature and more powerful game graphics.
Corre adds that they received feedback that more than 80 percent of the players are willing to check out "Watch Dogs 2." He is also confident that the new game will appeal to new players as well.
"Watch Dogs 2" Details, Release Date
In "Watch Dogs 2," players will play as Macrus Holloway who, Corre says, is charismatic and much younger than Aiden Pearce, Attack of the Fanboy noted. Also, instead of Chicago, the game will take place in the much bigger setting of San Francisco.
Game director Jonathan Morin had the idea to change the hero and setting when he visited the actual place in San Francisco, California. Morin and the "Watch Dogs" team met with Silicon Valley companies and the idea of a younger hacker came into fruition, PC GamesN reported.
To give a bit of a background for "Watch Dogs 2," Marcus was born in San Francisco but grew up in Oakland. The ctOS security surveillance wrongfully profiled him to be part of some crimes he had no knowledge in. As he grew up, Marcus decided to join DedSec, a hacktivist group.
The plot moves when DedSec wants to expose San Francisco's big wigs and powerful individuals. In order to do that, they will need to gather equipment to give their hacking more success. Morin explains that "Watch Dogs 2" will shine light to the existing dichotomy in the story especially with DedSec members and their shared goals.
More will be revealed when "Watch Dogs 2" comes out globally on November 15 later this year.
