Ubisoft CEO Proclaimed "Watch Dogs 2" Could Be One of Most Best-Selling Games

Ubisoft has a lot of memorable games under its belt but the company's CEO believes that "Watch Dogs 2" will become one of the company's best-selling games.

"Watch Dogs 2" has even ranked higher than "Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Wildlands." While Ubisoft expects the latter to do better than its predecessor, they believe that the former will be the one to rake in the prestige and sales.

Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillermot declared that "Watch Dogs 2" has what it takes to become one of the company's best-selling video games. He said during a company's earnings call that he and many others believe that "Watch Dogs 2" will become an AAA blockbuster, GameRanx reported. They also added that the game will fair close if not better than the original game.

Guillermot adds that the added features and improved gameplay in "Watch Dogs 2" will make their hopes come true. According to CNET, the Ubisoft CEO explained that the game has improved online and co-op gameplay. On top of that, the "Watch Dogs 2" new characters will also draw players and fans in.

"Watch Dogs 2" will be released this year on November 15 for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4 gamers.

'Ghost Recon: Wildlands' Game Expectation is High

During E3 2016, Ubisoft's announcement of "Watch Dogs 2" was very well-received. The reveal trailer of the game had more than 30 million views as well. However, the expectations for Tom Clancy's "Ghost Recon: Wildlands" is also high.

During the E3 2016 event, Guillermot explained that the game also received a lot of praise despite its new setting. They believe the game will have a huge impact not just on the players but on the company as well as it was highly received by the critics and the audience. Guillermot believes that "Ghost Recon: Wildlands" will do good especially during the first quarter of next year for when it gets released, WCCF Tech reported.
