The Washington Wizards try to get a win at home when they host the Atlanta Hawks at the Verizon Center in Game 3 of their Eastern Conference semifinal match in the NBA Playoffs.
The match is on May 9, 2015 at 5:00 PM ET.
Heading into their series, many believed that the Hawks were destined to stroll through the Wizards and make it to the East Finals with ease, but the Wizards had other plans.

After sweeping the Toronto Raptors, the Wizards continued their hot streak in Game 1 against the Hawks, winning 104-98 behind big games from Bradley Beal and Paul Pierce. They were able to control the ball movement and held the Hawks to just 34% shooting from beyond the arc.
However, they did suffer a setback as John Wall suffered a hand injury that would force Washington to play without him in the second game.
And without their star player, things were difficult for the Wizards and it was the perfect time for Atlanta to take advantage.
In Game 2, DeMarre Carroll exploded for 22 points while Al Horford was steady with 18 points.
Paul Millsap completed a double-double with 18 points and 11 rebounds for Atlanta, as they withstood good games from Beal and back-up guard Ramon Sessions. The former had 20 points while the latter had an efficient 21 points on 57% shooting.
Unfortunately, Nene could not get his game going for Washington as he finished with only five points and failed to score a single field goal in the game as they lost 106-90.
Game 3 will be crucial as the winner will get a series lead and will only need two wins to move to the next round. Washington must use their home court advantage and try to win to stop the Hawks from building more momentum in the series.
